Barbara Draughon is a Dallas based artist, working primarily with glass in a variety of applications.  Originally from California, Barbara has come to consider Dallas her home.  Barbara started working with stained glass in the 1970's, selling numerous pieces of her work as well as making repairs on stained glass panels. This type of work never seemed to capture what she envisioned the glass could do, so eventually she stopped doing the glass professionally.

About five years ago she discovered fused glass and has found a true passion in the ability to  manipulate glass into many various forms of art. She often refers to this art as her "drug of choice". She has found it completely addicting and continues to expand her repertoire of glasswork and design. With experience ranging over three  decades, Barbara has really come into her own and has developed a reputation as having a truly unique artistry and design vision.

Her current projects include stained glass alternatives, interior specialty items, like sinks and  touchier lamps, as well as her ever expanding line of accessories.  Barbara’s pieces have an essence of quality that must be experienced to appreciate.  She is available for custom design by
